i’m kind of torn because i do think that scene with kurt and rachel is sweet and more nicely balanced than some of their other interactions in season three. i used to love love LOVE their dynamic, though season three soured it a bit for me in both directions (i don’t think it was a good thing for either character and both were used as props for each other at times).

on the other hand, i think it’s pretty sad that kurt shares pretty much the same level of emotional and physical intimacy with his female best friend as he does with his boyfriend. honestly it says more about the fucked up ways they’ve marginalized/sanitized kurt and blaine rather than anything bad about kurt and rachel’s friendship.
